Average credit card debt in America is $8,400. • Total US consumer debt (which includes installment debt, but not mortgage debt) reached $2.46 Trillion in June 2007!!

Over 82 millions Americans live with poor credit score.

A recent survey reveals that nearly 80% of all consumer reports contain serious errors or mistakes of some kind. Most individuals don’t track and review their credit files, therefore many don’t realize they have bad credit. In my career as a Mortgage Broker I realize that most people are under the impression there is nothing that can be done to alter the information on their credit reports. In my easy to read guide titled: Credit Repair, A Do It Yourself Guide you will learn quickly how you can fix some errors on your consumer credit report!

Higher costs of borrowing presents major challenge to average consumers. Even if your credit woes can be explained, bad credit is a distraction from the employer’s perspective. Bad credit can affect many areas of your life.

Interesting to add is that: The biggest cause of fighting in marriage is due to financial issues as related to bad credit.

I LOVE Purple!

Ever since I can remember color… usually kids would say blue or pink… I would say Purple! Something about how I feel when I’m around purple… peaceful, complete, whole.

Meaning of the Color Purple
Purple embodies the balance of red simulation and blue calm. A sense of mystic and royal qualities, purple is a color often well liked by very creative or eccentric types.

How the color purple effects us mentally and physically
* Uplifting
* Calming to mind and nerves
* Offers a sense of spirituality
* Encourages creativity

Purple: THE COLOR OF THE CROWN CHAKRA
The Crown Chakra, also known as the Sahasrara, is located at the top of the head. The Crown Chakra is linked to the crown of the head, the nervous system, and the brain, and is representative of pure thought.

This chakra connects one with the infinite consciousness. Opening this chakra will help tap into a deep spiritual understanding. Gemstones that will aid the Crown Chakra include amethyst and clear quartz.

Purple represents the planet Jupiter. *odd coincidence, Jupiter is the ruling planet for Sagittarius (yours truly)

PURPLE QUOTE: “I think it pisses God off if you walk by the color purple in a field somewhere and don’t notice it.” Alice Walker, American Author

Let me know what your favorite color is…and why.

tree

Early this morning I had a conversation with an associate, and she was expressing how life can be ‘cruel’ sometimes. I told her that she is not alone and then I told her the story of the tree.

Empathy is a wonderful aspect to nurture. I don’t have to walk in someone else’s shoe to appreciate the growth of their struggle. I also understand that as unique as we all are many of us have similar experiences. What sets us apart in each experience is the approach we take to what is happening in our lives.

If you are going through a situation where you may feel that life is being ‘cruel’ understand that you are not alone. I could understand someone born blind saying such things, yet should they not still pursue the best life they can?…and most do despite their handicaps.

Ever see a tree grow on the side of a mountain or deserted area, or through a crack on a sidewalk? What would be the chances of survival? It was not given the richest soil and the ‘perfect’ circumstances. Yet, it endures the struggle, it welcomes the sun and the rain. It uses what it has and strives to live the best life ever! …and, isn’t it amazing how the little creatures benefit from the struggle of the tree; they enjoy its shade and little birds fly to rest on its branches.

The little tree grows proudly and defiantly against all odds, standing tall as a testament to Life. You can too!

Ever look back at your life and notice that it is built up like a tiered cake? One experience leads to the next tier and so on.

Not knowing how to do something should NEVER stop you. A lot of people have big dreams but allow their fears stop them. They won’t do something because they don’t know how. You have to start somewhere…and most important you must take that first step.

A little over four years ago I joined a fast growing national mortgage company, I had no experience what so ever and as life turns out I grew in wisdom with every transaction. Today I have my own mortgage team of over 2,000 members with this company.

In the last year or so, the mortgage industry has had a lot of adjustments as the market movers play their deck regardless of human emotions. Now many are caught in the wind trying to save their homes and some, their jobs.

A year ago, I began running into more and more clients who based on their work and credit history could qualify for a home loan but they could not follow through on the transaction due to not having enough money for reserve funds required by the banks nor to pay all the parties involved in the mortgage transaction (title company, appraiser, surveyor, home owner insurances, federal and city taxes, underwriter, processor, their broker and those other document fees) … it does add up. City and County Assistance were running out of funds faster than borrowers could request them. A home is probably the biggest purchase most of us ever make.

With this dilemma at hand, my George was seeing how frustrated I felt not being able to help my partners and their clients close those transactions; Also, frustrated at the lack of information people really had about the home buying process. With these two frustrations at hand he decided we should spearhead a non profit organization for the purpose of education and fund raising.

The Helpful Hands Foundation concept was sent into the IRS and after a year finally was approved!

The Helpful Hands Foundation, Inc. is authorized and recognized by the IRS [Internal Revenue Service] as a full service charitable organization exempt under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code as of December 31, 2007.

A few months have gone by and I’ve used the foundation to bring education programs to our local community. It has been a challenge since I feel like I’m in the water without an instructor but, forge onward I will. I am in need of volunteers, people that know about fund raising and grant writing. I welcome any wisdom or resources my online family can offer.

greatness

Seeds are small, and powerful. Each one of us has unique gifts and talents similar to seeds, that when nourished will blossom.

This day was made specially for you. For you to express your inner you. For you to share your unique talents and abilities. Stop focusing on what you don’t have and focus on what you do have, focus on what makes you special. Share that part of you.

All that is expected of you is for you to be the best you…. you can be. You don’t have to be like everyone else, just be you! Begin by becoming aware of your unique abilities, work on making them better, open to sharing them with others.

When you share your talents and gifts with others the world opens up to you and for you.

Daisy Says: Nourish the seeds of greatness within you and watch your world bloom.
