Could laziness be defined as not having any drive or ambition to accomplish anything?
Could laziness be defined as having the desire to engage only in passive activities, always being a spectator, never acting.
Yet, adapting a lazy mentality can affect us physically and emotionally. It can lead to poor health, low self-esteem, lack of hope, and low self-confidence, among other things it robs us a the person that we dream of being. It steals away our dreams and hopes.
I say… it’s okay to pull back and chill out but when it becomes a perpetual habit, then I would conclude to myself that there may now be a problem at hand. Many people have a drawer full of excuses and prefer to choose a passive way of dealing with fears and insecurities and labeling it: Lazy.
Many people live out their lives in front of the t.v.: sports, exercise, travel, adventures …you name it! They’re missing out on a lot in life, and many of them don’t realize just what they’re missing, because they’ve never experienced it.
A whole inventory of emotions never experienced!
If laziness determines your behavior then take baby steps to adapt new behaviors. Do it for you.
Daisy Says: Don’t let laziness deprive you of experiencing what this beautiful world has to offer.
