In the spanish caribbean island a woman that is giving birth is referred to as ‘a woman giving light’, I’m always caught in quiet contemplation when I see a pregnant woman and am humbled how in our spanish culture we acknowledge the light a woman carries in her womb.

If we could only continue to carry that same observation and see each other’s light in the world we would expand all that is good, for there is such good in our world. Even Abraham Lincoln our sixteenth president said: I am not bound to succeed, but I am bound to live up to the light that I have.

Remember that you are light, and the light never goes out it only diminishes if you ignore it. When you choose to seek your light and live your light you will nurture the flame into a living breathing fire which is YOU. Teachers and guides will always come and go, but the knowledge that you learn from life will serve to nourish your light so long as you allow yourself to be inspired by the world around you.
