2008 had an interesting start, every day awakening to a new canvass a new opportunity to create a masterpiece for the day.

2008 may mark the peak of the mortgage foreclosure debaucle, as we headed towards the middle of the year more and more people were losing homes to foreclosure. Many good families were facing uncertainty with loss of job, less hours and illness – unfortunately falling victim to the economic crisis plaguing 2008. Many good and hard working people facing their day in quiet desperation not knowing how to climb out of the depth of situation they find themselves in.

Our journey from birth to death is so brief and the more days we get to travel towards our death we begin realizing that it is the memories of the life designed that makes our life so sWeet.

Life is experienced by being an active participant of it. Dropping out of an airplane in free-fall has a whole different angle when it’s you feeling the cold wind rushing at your face and awesome sensation of your body rushing to the ground as your eyes try to take everything in from the horizon to the clouds to the landscape below.

Going to a live football game and being there for the defeat or victory of your team is only made better by the tailgate party, the promenade to the ticket booth and then sitting at the bleachers with other strangers who for a short time have one thing in common with you.. the love of the sport and the team. The jeers and cheers, the rain or heat, the peanuts and treats makes the experience unforgettable.

Getting together with dear ones and sharing food, laughter dance, telling stories of past events and creating pathways to future adventures is a wonderful way to end the year.
