Florida Farmville There is such simple sweet joy of loving the land and watching mother earth at work. We were blessed to have the opportunity to purchase a worn down farm in central Florida. It boast of 5 acres with...

It may just be a story… an old story at that… but the lesson is timeless:
There was a man who lived by the side of the road and sold hot dogs.
He was hard of hearing so he had no radio
He had trouble with his eyes, so he read no newspapers.
BUT he sold good hot dogs!
He put up signs on the highway- telling people how good they were!
He stood on the side of the road and cried: “Buy a hot dog mister”!
And People Bought!!
He increased his meat and bun orders and bought a bigger stove to take care of his trade-
He finally got his son home from college to help him out
But then something happened.
His son said, “Father, haven’t you been listening to the radio?
Haven’t you been reading the newspapers?
There’s a big depression!
The European situation is terrible.
The domestic situation is worse!
Whereupon the father thought, “Well, my son’s been to college, he reads the papers and he listens to the radio, and he ought to know”
So the father cut down on his meat and bun orders- took down his advertising signs and no longer bothered to stand out on the highway to sell his hotdogs.
And his hot dog sales fell almost overnight!
“You’re right, son” the father said to the boy,
“We certainly are in the middle of a great Depression” !!!
Many people for fear of the unknown choose to walk down the paved road, who’s to say that up ahead on that same paved road could exist a road block or worse yet an abyss? The road less traveled.. is that a book ?.. or it could be a quote? Either way ignore what everyone else says… follow your inner voice and you will be guided true to an AmaZing adventure tailor designed just for you and by you!
Daisy Says: Don’t follow the herd, they may lead you to the slaughter house.

They say what drives many successful people to succeed is an innate fear of failure. No matter how difficult the task, the thought of failing at something is simply unacceptable. And so, they triumph again and again by doing whatever it takes to succeed. Ironically, it is the same fear of failure that holds many people back from reaching new levels of success. The obstacles, risk, and challenge that motivate one person can stonewall another.
Every industry is riddled with people who lack the courage for success. They have been told what to do, and even trained how to do it. But they won’t take action because they are afraid. For example, consider the following:
Many are afraid to adapt to technology. Even though they understand that without it they will be extinct, their fear of change is greater than their desire to survive.
Some are afraid to go to seminars to advance their skills and knowledge. “What will others say?” “Will they think I’m stupid? Does going to a training class mean I am incompetent?” To protect a fragile ego, they let their fears overrule their better judgment.
There are those who refuse to spend any money on their business. They are afraid it won’t pay off. They lack the courage for entrepreneurship. What about trying a new marketing idea? Some are afraid of the risk “What if it doesn’t work?”
Many make very few sales calls and when they do, call only on people with whom they are comfortable. Even though expanding their scope and sources of business means more money, they are afraid of possible rejection. And so, month after month, they stay at the level of business they have always produced.
It takes courage to succeed in any business; the courage to try something new, to invest your own money, and to take time for personal development. It takes courage to launch a new marketing idea or make cold calls to prospects you don’t know.
It’s not easy. Nobody said it was. But for every person who can’t seem to find the courage, it’s refreshing to know there is one who does.
Daisy Says: Let courage drive you onward.

Come share this space with me: The Fence
From the fence the world stands still; above us a cloud of sky peacefully paints a story.
Below us the grass sways gently as the wind blows gingerly by.
From the fence all is good; together you and I need not share words, just the joy of
being… you and I.
The gust of wind may blow us free, yet the memory of the sweet space brings us back to the simplicity of just you and me on the fence, where we are free to be just you and me.
A place where love has no boundary. A place where we are perfect being just you and me.
