Hello my friends, I write to you from the Bally’s Hotel in Las Vegas. The weather is fantastically Hot, Dry and…did I say hoT?

I’ll be here for a couple more days brainstorming with fellow members of NLC a Lending Opportunity. Our venue is fantastic and motivating!

Now… I usually love sharing the positive energy that flows through my mind yet today I wanted to share with you my hotel experience here at the Bally’s. The hotel is currently owned by Marilyn Wynn who also owns the Paris, and the Rio.

I was very disappointed with my hotel experience… the room was spacious but worn. It is like staying at a beat up Holiday Inn. For $137.00 you will get a room with two beds. Even though the furniture is VERY outdated the mattress is very nice and…yes, you do get fresh sheets. But don’t expect any frills. No bath robes, no coffee machines, and no free continental breakfast. It’s amazing you can go off the strip and get so much more from a Hilton.

Your amenities at the Bally’s start when you become a ‘Diamond Club Member’ (which means you probably do a little gambling), then, perhaps you can get a coffee machine in your room. Unfortunately if you are not a gambler like me…then walk down the strip to the Walgreens and buy your own little coffee machine for $10.00 because one oup of small coffee will run you about $3.50.

Let’s now talk about my Bally’s ‘pool’ experience. I called the front desk to get instructions to the pool area….and I was told to go downstairs and make a right. Mind you, I am staying in the South Tower, which means…that to go to the pool I had to trek through the whole length of the casino AND the internal strip shops to get to the pool in my bikini.

So… if you ever stay at the Bally’s Hotel in Las Vegas, and you decide you want to use the pool stay in the North Tower.
