2008 had an interesting start, every day awakening to a new canvass a new opportunity to create a masterpiece for the day.

As we headed towards the middle of the year more and more people were losing homes to foreclosure. Many good families were facing uncertainty with loss of job, less hours and illness – unfortunately falling victim to the economic crisis plaguing 2008. Many good and hard working people facing their day in quiet desperation not knowing how to climb out of the depth of situation they find themselves in.

The Helpful Hands Foundation has been one of the best journeys I have had the pleasure to experience, it is wonderful to be a part of the solution and show others that there are ‘helpful hands’ and caring hearts still out here in the world.
