Many times I have journeyed into life moving in one direction or other yet it was through solitude in introspection that I could find my way back to the source of light and guidance.

Polar bears are intelligent and fearless; native tribes throughout history have held the polar as a desirable ally and spirit helper. The white color of the polar bear represents purity of spirit. As this bear is fearless and the universal energy only flows when fear is absent, the polar serves as a valuable ally in getting past fear, both physically and mentally. When our own courage falters we can connect with our animal nature and overcome obstacles beyond our imagination.

To the Eskimo and Inuit peoples this animal is a source of both physical and spiritual nourishment. On a spiritual level, the polar bear is regarded as the embodiment of the spirit of the North, an animal who possesses ancient wisdom and has shamanic powers.

Of the bear family the polar is the most aggressive and carnivorous, yet they are not territorial. They are exceptional hunters. Polar bears weigh up to 1600 lbs and are able to knock a 500lb seal out of the water with one blow. Polar bear attacks are more likely to be predatory and are almost always fatal. They are stealth hunters, and the victim is often unaware of the bear’s presence until the attack is underway. Incredibly strong, they are adaptable which is an excellent survival skill. (Though they are one of the largest land carnivores, they are still capable of great speed on both ice and earth. They are able to swim 100 miles non-stop.)

There have been many instances in my life where I’ve had to adapt to the circumstances and surroundings in order to continue the growth of my soul. To question the journey was not an option, only to adapt and grow secured my survival.

In general, adult polar bears live solitary lives. Yet, they have often been seen playing together for hours at a time and even sleeping in an embrace, adult males have “well-developed friendships.” Cubs are especially playful as well. Among young males in particular, play-fighting may be a means of practicing for serious competition during mating seasons later in life. Polar bears have a wide range of vocalizations, including bellows, roars, growls, chuffs and purrs.

The Polar Bear is one of my mentors through observation of this majestic creature I have learned many lessons and gained much wisdom.

Prior to acting the polar will observe the situation beforehand. They know how exactly how to preserve their energy and strength and use both at the most appropriate time for the best outcome. The art of energy management is a lesson we can all benefit from.

Within the animal kingdom the polar has no enemies. However, they do have but one enemy – the human hunter.

Courage can be explained as knowing that something could be more important than one’s fear.

Some believe that those with courage act because they are not afraid. Yet… the easiest thing is to take action when you are not afraid. At the same time if you hold back and do nothing because you’re afraid, well that’s easy too!

To embrace the fear and take action despite of it, that takes courage!

Sometimes there are circumstances in our lives that test our courage. As if Life were testing us for a promotion and overcoming those challenges would merit moving up to the next level. That next level could be many things: more responsibility, handle more income, intense relationships etc etc.

What we must be willing to do is, embrace the opportunity to overcome the fear; to summon the courage that is naturally in us… because when opportunity comes to test us… it strikes when we least expect it.

This last year has offered me many opportunities to embrace my fears and step forward with courage. Many times I questioned myself if I had the strength to lead people now that they needed me the most. I found the courage to understand that it is in the doing that I will grow the most. The biggest fear for me is to have missed on living the best life for fear of not believing in myself.

Eleanor Roosevelt once said: Courage is more exhilarating than fear and in the long run it is easier. We do not have to become heroes overnight. Just a step at a time, meeting each thing that comes up, seeing it is not as dreadful as it appeared, discovering we have the strength to stare it down.

On May 21, the Macedonian International News Agency reported that, “A new Kremlin report on the shadowy Bilderberg Group, states that the West’s financial, political and corporate elite emerged from their conclave after coming to an agreement that in order to continue their drive towards a New World Order dominated by the Western Powers, the US Dollar has to be ‘totally’ destroyed.” Further, the same Kremlin report apparently stated that, “most of the West’s wealthiest elite convened at an unprecedented secret meeting in New York called for and led by” David Rockefeller, “to plot the demise of the US Dollar.”

Daisy Says: He who controls money… controls the world.

It does not matter who you are nor what is happening in your life right now, what matters is.. that it IS… that LIFE IS and that all experiences no matter how we label them good or bad serve as catalyst in personal growth.

I’ve had a few challenges that tested my WILL and CHARACTER… challenges that hurt so deep that while I was going through the experience it felt like I was in the darkest tunnel. Despite the loving voices on the outside, the journey was very personal and solitary. When I was at my lowest, when I thought I could not cry any more, when the darkness had completely enveloped me – in the silence of my anguish I found the strength to get back up and face the person in the mirror. I got up and looked at her from a different point of view, from the angle of experience; I looked at her and saw that despite the challenge and the grief… that I was there….’alive’. Alive to move on and start a new chapter.

Welcome the challenges for they help you build your character, experience the fall and know that you will rise again stronger and bolder.

Daisy Says: Be grateful in the falling and victorious in the living!

Then I was asked if I pray. Okay, I thought this was a trick question… so my natural response was to answer with a question: If a person looked upon a tree with blessing and inspiration and imbued love and gratitude upon that moment versus a person grabbing a prayer book and reading route… who is truly praying?

The next question I was asked was if I prayed for material things? Realizing the abundance we are offered on this planet earth I pray for more Love, Wisdom, Peace, Health, Serenity, Joy and things like that. Realizing that they exist and asking for more is what I find wonderful. The material things in life is all about the ‘getting’.

Do you know that ‘getting what you want’ is all about the ‘getting’?

When you visit your local food store let’s say to buy ingredients for a special meal, well, …you don’t go down the ‘health and beauty’ isle for ingredients. For the most part we go down the isle where we can find our ingredients and of course pay for them and leave.

Most of us would agree that here upon planet earth, void of our own limitations, the planet has many natural and man made wonders that we can experience — all for the taking. It is my opinion that when we want to get material things, we need to ‘get ready for the getting’ and go about getting it.
